Couples Therapy

Picture
Relationships are a beautiful thing. Often times, these partnerships provide us with a sense of connectedness, love, security, and understanding. Unfortunately, there are times where all relationships encounter obstacles which may cause one or both partners to experience a rupture in connectedness. These are times where couples may benefit from seeking counseling to repair this rupture, and rebuild their sense of fondness and admiration for one another.

In couples therapy you will meet with a trained mental health professional to discuss ways in which you wish to heal from past emotional injuries, find resolution to current impasses, and to improve your sense of understanding, connectedness, and love for one another.

On some occasions, couples reach the difficult decision to end a relationship, at these times it may be helpful to seek couples therapy to process the best way to transition out of the relationship, and to maintain a positive co-parenting relationship if children are involved.
